Millport is a charming Victorian seaside town, easily reached by a ten minute ferry from Largs, itself only a forty five minute train journey from Glasgow. The sunny shared garden ( shared only with my upstairs neighbour) has sheltered seating behind an old stone wall for you to enjoy a peaceful cup of afternoon tea, and listen to the birds singing. Although we would never say it's escape proof, it should contain your dog! The garden boundry has two walls of stone, and one hedge ,with a mesh fence of three foot, plus a three foot mesh fence which has a gate to the common area of garden. This garden is partly shaded, apart from a table and benches area near the front door, making it perfect for your dog to relax in after a trip to the nearby beach. There is a shower room, and the cottage also benefits from a pretty private( ie for your sole use ) garden. We accept up to two dogsīedding for the double bed is supplied, please let me know if you need it left out for the single day bed. Rose Cottage is a tiny delightful secluded lower cottage, tucked away behind another building in George Street in Millport, on the little island of Cumbrae. As all the beds are in the only bedroom, it's not really suitable for three adults.Single guests or couples are very welcome.īedding for the double bed is supplied, please let me know if yo. Please note the cottage is very small- three guests is the absolute maximum, and this is probably best comprised of 2 adults and 1 child.

The addition of a Smart TV in each room means that you can use either room as a living room, depending on your party size and age span. The cottage has a compact combined kitchen/ living area, and a large bedroom, and the day bed in the bedroom can also be used as a comfortable couch.
